	About the League The league provides all members of the community with an opportunity to play volleyball and meet new people in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of healthy competition. It is established for people interested in a recreational league focused on Building Jewish Community. Two seasons of Volleyball are played each year, a Fall (September) and a Winter (January) season. League play consists of a Beginner/Intermediate division and an Intermediate division and participants typically range in age from their 20's through their 40's. There will be a total of 11 weeks of play including playoffs.	VOLLEYBALL Sign up for the fall league by Aug 26 and save $10.00 Registration Form or Pay online with PayPal Play both Sunday Fall Volleyball & Frostbite Softball. Volleyball will take place late afternoon and early evening, after frostbite softball which will be scheduled for late morning/early afternoon. We will minimize any scheduling conflicts between softball and volleyball. So, if you would like to play both softball and volleyball please do sign up for both.
	All games are scheduled to take place on Sundays and may begin as early as 3:00 PM and may end as late as 7:30 PM depending on your team's specific schedule. The first week consists of a scrimmage. Subsequent weeks consist of regular team play and the last week or two of the season is reserved for playoffs. In order to accommodate those of us that would like to play with a group of friends, we will permit mixed groups of four people to sign up together. There will not be team registrations. We believe that the long-term interests of a league which supports recreational play in a friendly atmosphere is better served by an open registration. REGISTRATION To register please print out a Volleyball Registration Form and mail with your payment to Coed Jewish Sports or make payment online with PayPal. The fee is $89.00 and the early registration deadline is August 26. Registrations received after this date will be assessed a $10.00 late fee.
